Indexfy lets you invest in crypto indexes, trade prediction markets and perps on Base — from the website, from Telegram, or through your own AI agent. Everything is non-custodial: your wallet signs every transaction, and Indexfy never holds your funds or keys.

For users

Getting started

  1. Click Connect wallet. Any wallet works — MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Rabby, WalletConnect — or sign in with Google or email to get one.
  2. Have USDC on Base. Gas on Base costs cents; keep a little ETH on Base for it.
  3. Pick a product below. Every action shows what it will do before your wallet asks you to confirm.

Indexes

An index is one ERC-20 token backed by a basket of tokens held in its own contract. Buying it gives you the whole basket in a single position; selling it gives you back its value in USDC.

I5 (INDEXFY TOP5) holds the five largest non-stablecoin crypto assets: cbBTC 30% · cbETH 30% · cbXRP 18% · SOL 14% · wBNB 8%. It's rebalanced every three months.

  • Buy with USDC — the app buys every basket token for you and mints the index in one transaction, refunding unspent USDC. It reverts rather than fill below the quoted minimum.
  • Sell for USDC — redeems your shares for the basket and sells each token, also in one transaction.
  • Mint and redeem in kind — if you already hold the basket tokens, deposit them directly, or redeem shares for your slice of each token.
  • Create your own — choose up to 20 tokens and their weights, seed the index with them and set its fees. It's listed on the Indexes page for others to buy.

An index is always worth what its basket is worth: if the basket's tokens fall 5%, so does the index price.

Prediction markets

Bet on a yes-or-no question with USDC. A share pays 1 USDC if its side wins and nothing if it loses, so its price is the market's probability: YES at 0.62 means 62%. You can sell your shares back at any time until the market closes.

  1. Create — anyone can open a market with a question, a close time, the time it can be resolved and a solver who will resolve it, seeding it with at least 100 USDC of liquidity. The creator withdraws what's left of that liquidity after settlement.
  2. Trade — until the close time. Each trade pays 1% to the solver and 1% to Indexfy.
  3. Propose — after the resolve time, the solver proposes YES, NO or INVALID, locking a bond of 1% of the market from their stake.
  4. Dispute — for 24 hours anyone except the solver can dispute the proposal by posting the same bond. Indexfy rules on disputes: a wrong solver loses their bond to the disputer, a wrong disputer loses theirs to the solver.
  5. Settle and redeem — once the window passes, anyone can settle the market, and winning shares redeem for 1 USDC each. If the market is INVALID, every share redeems for 0.50 USDC.

Safety valves: if the solver doesn't propose within 7 days of the resolve time, or a dispute isn't ruled on within 7 days, anyone can settle the market as INVALID, so funds can never get stuck.

Prediction markets aren't available in the United States, Portugal, France, Spain, Italy or China.

Perps

Trade perpetual futures on Hyperliquid — long or short with leverage — from the Perps page or the Telegram bot. Deposit USDC from Arbitrum into your Hyperliquid account; withdrawals arrive back on Arbitrum in a few minutes. Orders carry an Indexfy fee of 0.05% on top of Hyperliquid's own fees.

Leverage magnifies losses as well as gains, and positions can be liquidated. Only trade what you can afford to lose.

Telegram bot

@indexfy_bot does everything the website does, by command. When something needs your signature, the bot sends a button that opens a small Indexfy page inside Telegram, where your own wallet confirms it. The bot never holds your wallet.

CommandWhat it does
/start · /walletLink your wallet (a free signature)
/markets · /market 3Open prediction markets, or one market
/buy 3 yes 25 · /sell 3 yes allTrade YES / NO shares with USDC
/newmarketCreate a prediction market
/indexes · /buyindex I5 25 · /sellindex I5 allBrowse, buy and sell indexes
/newindex · /portfolioCreate an index, see your holdings
/perps · /long BTC 50 3x · /short ETH 50 2xHyperliquid perps: enable, then open positions
/close BTC · /positions · /deposit · /withdrawManage positions and your Hyperliquid balance
/help · /cancelAll commands, stop a form

For perps, the bot creates a trading key that your wallet approves once on Hyperliquid. That key can open and close positions for you but can't withdraw or move your funds — withdrawals are always signed by your wallet.

Fees

ProductFee
I50.2% to mint or buy · 0% to redeem or sell · 0.1% a year management
Community indexesSet by each creator, capped by the contract at 0.5% mint and 0.2% a year
Prediction markets1% to the solver + 1% to Indexfy per trade
Perps0.05% per order, plus Hyperliquid's fees

Network gas and DEX swap costs come on top. Fee changes on I5 go through a public 24-hour timelock.

Risks

  • Crypto prices are volatile; an index or a share can lose most of its value.
  • Smart contracts can have bugs. Only use amounts you can afford to lose.
  • wBNB is bridged from BNB Chain, which adds bridge risk — it's I5's smallest weight for that reason.
  • Prediction markets depend on their solver resolving honestly; disputes are the safeguard.
  • Transactions on a blockchain can't be reversed.

Nothing here is investment advice. See the Terms and Conditions.

For AI agents

MCP server

AI agents can read and trade Indexfy indexes and prediction markets through an MCP server — the open standard Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and most agent frameworks use for tools. No API key and no sign-up.

https://api.indexfy.xyz/mcp

Streamable HTTP, stateless, JSON responses. Requests are rate-limited per IP.

Connect

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http indexfy https://api.indexfy.xyz/mcp

Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf and other clients

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "indexfy": { "type": "http", "url": "https://api.indexfy.xyz/mcp" }
  }
}

On claude.ai, add it under Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector with the same URL. Then just ask, for example:

Use the Indexfy MCP server to show me the open
prediction markets and the I5 index. Then build a
10 USDC buy of YES on market 3 for my wallet 0x…
and show me the calls before I sign.

How transactions work

The server never holds keys or sends anything. Each build_* tool returns the exact calls for the agent's own wallet to sign and send on Base (chain id 8453), in order:

{
  "chainId": 8453,
  "from": "0xYourWallet",
  "calls": [
    { "to": "0x8335…2913", "data": "0x095e…", "value": "0", "description": "Approve 10 USDC" },
    { "to": "0x986c…5f42", "data": "0xd6fe…", "value": "0", "description": "Buy YES with 10 USDC" }
  ],
  "simulation": { "status": "success" },
  "summary": { … },
  "notes": []
}
  • Send the calls in order, each after the previous one confirms — or together as one atomic EIP-5792 batch. Send the data exactly as returned.
  • simulation is a dry run of all the calls from your wallet at the latest block. If it says reverted, fix the problem it names before sending.
  • Index buys and sells are routed through DEXs and go stale within minutes — build them right before sending. Every trade carries a minimum-output guard, so a stale one reverts rather than fill badly.
  • After creating a market or an index, call register_prediction_market or register_index with the transaction hash so it's listed on indexfy.xyz.
  • The wallet needs USDC on Base for trades and a little ETH on Base for gas.

Tools

ToolWhat it does
list_indexes · get_index · get_wallet_portfolioIndex stats and holdings, a wallet's positions and points
build_create_index · register_indexSeed and deploy a new index, then list it on indexfy.xyz once mined
build_buy_index · build_sell_indexBuy an index with USDC or sell it for USDC in one transaction
list_prediction_markets · get_prediction_market · quote_prediction_tradeLive odds, phase and deadlines, a wallet's shares, exact quotes
build_create_prediction_market · register_prediction_marketOpen a market (100 USDC minimum and a solver), then list it within an hour
build_prediction_tradeBuy or sell YES / NO with a minimum-output guard
build_prediction_resolutionpropose (solver), dispute, finalize, redeem, withdraw_liquidity
build_prediction_accountDeposit or withdraw solver stake, withdraw winnings and returned bonds

Each tool describes its own inputs to the agent, so there's nothing to configure. Amounts are in human units ("12.5" USDC), and prices are probabilities between 0 and 1.

Rules for agents

  • Always show the user the calls and the summary before signing, unless they've told you otherwise.
  • Don't trade prediction markets for users in the United States, Portugal, France, Spain, Italy or China.
  • A machine-readable summary of this page is at /llms.txt.
